Assaf will be appearing in the coming season of WEEDS and is currently working on the Indie feature PEACE AFTER MARRIAGE. Assaf just filmed a very funny piece for the second season of "Funny or Die Presents..." Watch for it soon on HBO. Recently, Assaf Guest Starred as a murder suspect on CSI: MIAMI and on FOX's "24" where he was, once again, killed by Jack Bauer!

This past season, Assaf recurred on NBC's HEROES as Peter's paramedic partner Hesam and in December, Assaf Guest Starred on NCIS: Los Angeles as a wounded US Marine. Last year, Assaf filmed his first series regular role on the USA pilot OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. Fellow cast members included Christine Lahti, Emily Rose, and Twilight's Edi Gathegi, among others.

Some of Assaf's additional TV appearances include: Pakistani spy 'Waseem' on the hit USA series BURN NOTICE, RENO 911!, GHOST WHISPERER, KNIGHT RIDER and THE EX LIST. Previous Guest Star spots include MONK, NCIS, NUMB3RS, 24 (Season 4), SLEEPER CELL, MONK and as the lovable yet misunderstood 'Yair Marx' on ENTOURAGE.

In film, Assaf was recently seen the box office smashing FAST AND FURIOUS and will be next seen in the Vampire Comedy/Thriller BLOOD SHOT. Previously, Assaf's West Bank Story won the Academy Award for Best Short Film and he appeared in genre indie features BULLETFACE and THE GIRL FROM THE NAKED EYE.
